Encourage Our Youth

In today's time kids have multiple avenues for entertainment. However, all are not the best for our future generation's health in the long run. Our nation and state must address our youth’s health problems through encouragement from family members.

The Lt. Governor's Office and the Office on Aging serve as the one stop shop for all senior citizens in South Carolina; as a result both offices are continuously speaking with seniors on how they can lead a better life. We are now asking seniors do the same with their own grandchildren. 22 million children in the United States are obese. We must act now.

The Lt. Governor's office and the Office on Aging are now providing informative websites for outdoor activities and sports that will teach our youth how to live an active and healthy life.
